Hatchets

Hatchet can simply be termed as a hitting tool with a sharp blade, which is used to cut and rip the wood. The word 'hatchet' is derived from 'hache' or Axe. Hatchets possess different characteristics and uses as compared to hand axes. Hatchets are more thinner bladed and properly sharpened as compared to hand axes. Furthermore Hatchets are easy to resharpen if in case they lose there edges when used on harder wood. Hatchets are also used to chop green stuff very easily.

TYPES OF HATCHETS
