Oil Cans

Cans are containers that are used for storing or transporting food stuffs, oil, paint, insecticide detergent, aerosol or any other liquid or solid material that needs to be preserved for long time. Cans can be made up of plastic, tin, aluminum, steel or any other metal. Cans comes in several sizes and shapes for use in different types of applications. Oil cans (also called oil dispensers) has two basic uses:

1. As a oil container


2. For applying oil to machineries

The oil cans which are used for storing or carrying oil are closed from all sides with a opening on the top which is closed with a air tight cap. The cap of plastic oil cans is opened by rotating it in counter-clockwise direction. For opening metal oil cans the can openers are used. The oil cans which are used for applying oil to the machines are provided with a projection called its nozzle, through which a spray of oil is injected into the machine parts.
